This blog will document my journey towards attaining the ASA designation. I am a career changer. I currently work in engineering project management but want to become an actuary. I am interested in mathematics and its actuarial applications. I have passed the preliminary P and FM exams. My next target is MLC and MFE in May 2011 and C in October 2011. Dealing with Reserves

I was quite apprehensive of the reserves material but seem to be enjoying it as I navigate the section. Understanding reserves requires a thorough understanding of insurance, annuities & premiums. Hope to finish life contigencies material by 3/7.
