In that case leave it on when you're driving, I guess. I heard it shuts down over 20mph but I don't know if that's reliable.

I guess it depends on the data coverage too. I caught an Eevee while my wife was doing 45mph on a country road, but the app also had me standing in place for a few seconds and then jumping 1/4 mile sporadically.

I think the threshold is 20KPH (as everything is metric) which means you have to bike somewhat slowly.

I am playing but only during breaks at work, my bike commute to work, walks at work, and walking my dog. My work is apparently a hot spot with respect to others in this thread. If I turn my phone on every 2-3 hours I reliably get at least 3-5 popping up every time. For example, I just turned the game on and I have one of each {venonat, weedle, pidgey, caterpie, zubat}. My walks around my own neighborhood, on the other hand, I'm lucky if I find 1 in the half hour I walk my dog.

Highlights of finds at work: Onyx, Vulpix, and exeggcute(s)

Only good find at home: bulbasaur

Top 3 CP: 616 Jolteon, 456 Pidgeot, and 350 {Weepinbell, Gloom}

I've found lucky egg + evolving Pidgey/Caterpie/Weedles (12 cost) is a good way to power level.

I feel like this is a really good way to get a date.

Just gotta throw out a lure... Have like 20 people in the same spot... start up a conversation with one of them... and then go on a pokemon catching date together.

saw a Reddit post with this advice already

For those in the :tfh: crowd:

Pokémon Go Is a Government Surveillance Psyop Conspiracy

If so, it's brilliant and frightening.

Well, just got into the office, and it's as I feared. Not even remotely close to a gym or stop. Although my office is basically in the middle of a field and there are rustling leaves everywhere. I caught two wild pidgey's and a doduo from the car to my desk.
