I as well didn't use any of the study notes, solely the videos and detailed study manual, and felt more than prepared walking into the exam.

I have a masters in statistics but can't speak for these exams since I am SOA. But based off the syllabus, my degree was much more theoretical. My degree had a much greater depth into linear models...

Agreed. 3 weeks max is all you need. 1 week to get through material, 1 week to memorize, 1 week to do practice exams. Works every time.

I didn't use a ratio either. Just used a few of the given metrics and widely different portfolios and narrowed it down to the best portfolio based on the metrics.
