They are not yet released.
When they are available, they'll show up here: http://soa.org/education/exam-req/sy...oice-exam.aspx |

They are not released yet. The SOA usually release them 1 or 2 months before the next exam sitting.

I'm guessing there's probably a good reason for it. Maybe in the grading process, there's a shift in what they intend the ideal answer to be.
I do wonder how long it'll take to get the score breakdown by question, though. I'm just curious how close I got with my projected score. |

Grading outlines contain every possible thing that will get you points. Illustrative solutions are built from actual papers (sometimes edited) and are to show what a maxed-out solution looks like. You can make mistakes or omit some items, and still get all the exam points for a particular problem. In addition, they've been putting up grader remarks in with illustrative solutions of late. They need to have actually seen all the papers to put that together. Take a look at this to get a taste: http://soa.org/Files/Edu/edu-2011-11-afe-sol.pdf |

1. There are grading outlines. These are put together ahead of time, and are used for the grading (thus, the name). The SOA never shares these. 2. There are the illustrative solutions -- these are what you get to see. These are to illustrate "perfect" solutions. If you read them, you'll notice they're usually not perfect (especially the numerical ones). However, they are solutions that would get the full number of exam points for that problem. In addition, they now have grader comments to talk about the kinds of responses, and what people usually got right and wrong. (go look at the link I had in my last post) The illustrative solutions are not what are being used to actually grade the papers. They are put together after the grading is completely done. |
