Drive 34 miles to Liverpool?

Sawyers Arms
Town Hall Tavern.
First two that come to mind.

Yes, I'm an expert.... at Google search.

Not sure, but I think every pub will have it on.
If you're actually rooting for Liverpool, in Manchester, then yes, find a friendly pub. I don't think this site is showing only fan-friendly pubs.

I would but I fly out of Manchester the next morning

I'll probably just sneak in at some local pub

Oh, the FA Community Shield is on Sunday, but, as usual, ESPN's five regular cable stations have better things to show than two top EPL teams battling over some useless silverware. It's on ESPN+, those bungholes.

But, here's to the first of eight possible matches between MCI and LIV!

Looks like there is frequent train service from Liverpool to Manchester airport that can get you there early the next morning.

Thanks, I'll do some research tonight. Wasn't sure if any of the fans here had firsthand recs.

I already booked my hotel in Manchester and don't feel like taking the train after the game that late for my 9am flight. Didn't even think to check the PL schedule when I booked my trip :/ I would've done a later flight and watched it in Anfield for sure had I known.

I think the ONLY reason I'd go to England, EVER, would be to watch EPL matches live in person. And, of course, in pubs. There might be other things to do during the week, I suppose.
So, yeah, I'd be checking the schedule.
