This one clearly qualifies, since I had sent it to ADIP even before you started this thread

LOL Bonnie. If you get HGTV you shoudl watch the show Dream Home (I think that's the title) - a new series just started last night and it looks like the family is in for quite a ride. Most series usually show a house built from the start, but in this case it is going to be a mAJOR remodel. More interesting to watch than that other show "Before and After" where they miraculously turn a rancher into a seventeen bedroom mansion in a half hour!

Thanks Bonnie! I can relate to that one. I inspected the new home tonight for possession tomorrow, and no kitchen countertops! :o My sink and faucet are not there either, but they have set up a temp until the granite is ready. Tubes from the washing machine leak in the basement, and some jerk put out his cigarette in the surface of my jacuzzi tub. Main floor toilet is clogged. But otherwise, I can see the home's potential. :P

Are you all done yet?

Kitten, I can totally relate. Our guys are the masters of new and unique excuses. We are still waiting for the cabinet doors (> 3 weeks). They promised yesterday (again!) but no doors.

The granite should go quickly. Ours did come out gorgeous, as did the tile backsplash with the mosaic box over the cooktop. Everything seems to work together, thankfully, and I really want to show it off.

Good luck with the move. It is very stressful. Just be glad you don't have a kid with chicken pox at the same time. (My then 8-month-old, what a day that was!)

Pseud, I disagree. rules.

As a general rule, I hate cats. I make an exception for Bucky and Bill.
