Default IA pass to do FA?

Does the IA need to be graded with a pass for us to do the FA? I am concerned that it takes approx. 7 weeks for grading, to meet the new deadline.

But if I hear back and DNMMR the IA, do I have to redo the IA before I do the FA?

I'm guessing no, but why would you want to do FA before fixing IA if you didn't pass? I wouldn't.

FA is only 4 days, so I could double dip on the grading easier than doing the IA again, which has more tasks than the FA.

12/13, so I should hear back next week or so and I want to take the FA the following week.

but you wouldn't have to entirely redo it. you would just need to fix it up if you fail.

most people pass IA though.

Hey ao fan,

You mentioned this on another thread (can't find it now), but could you let me know how you found out about them lifting the requirement? I appreciate it.

did they really?? I just looked yesterday and only saw stuff with the "old" rules. Did you (or someone you know) do this directly, or could you point me to the news release stating the change? This would change my whole approach over the next couple weeks. I just submitted my IA retake and, with this change, could bang out 6 and 7 and take FA early enough to have time for a (hopefully not needed) retake of FA while I wait for IA to be graded.

Thanks!
