Talking New Version of FlashChat Now Installed

The title of the thread pretty much says it all. Let me know if there are any bugs or odd behaviors in this version.

There are people who are not actually logged in, but still show up on the user list. If someone doesn't log out by clicking the red button, it does that. Is there a way to fix that? I don't think that bug was in there a few months ago.

I'm not sure.

Are you saying that people that are in chat, who then close out of their window, but don't log out, still show up?

It takes a few minutes for the main index of the forum to show someone has logged out.

I don't mean on the main forum list. They show up within chat as still being there, but when you look on the main forum they are not listed. This only happens if they don't log out properly and just close their browser. I think that the name can remain in chat for days.

Hmmm. Well, earlier I was in chat, and forgot to close the window all together. I was like "where are these noises coming from?"

It's not perfect, and I doubt it will be, but I have very little control over the software since it's compiled.

and backtime doesn't work beyond 30 lines whereas it used to go back up to 200 or so lines.

There are obviously a lot of bugs with this version. I may end up rolling it back today if I can't work them out.

A bug I just fell victim too is it thinks I'm still logged in, so I can't go back into chat because "there is another user logged in with that information."

Both of those sound the same as old bugs. First time it logged me in, nothing happened, but the second time I got in. 10 people logged in (though I'm sure I was the only one). I've seen that before.
