How's everyone's studying going?
I did two PEs last weekend and I graded myself pretty harshly but managed to get a few points above the pass mark.
Hoping to sharpen my weak areas in the coming days and do more PEs.

For those using TIA, are ya'll planning on doing TIA PEs?

i've been doing all of the TIA practice quizzes -- I'm almost done with that so this weekend I'm planning on doing a full length exam --- probably starting with the CAS ones. Theres so many CAS ones that I'll probably only do the TIA runs if I managed to get through all of the relevant past exams.

Fine just doing reserving problems. About to go over ratemaking next. Hopefully this hype wonít cancel exam. Typically itís just me and another candidate (his 3rd attempt) taking it. Look over the optimized pricing for sure.

After putting all these hours, I hope that they don't cancel the exam...

I think worst case scenario they'd just delay them a month or two. I'm gonna be really annoyed if this sitting gets outright cancelled and I have to wait a full year for a retake since 7 is only offered in the spring.

Look at it this way, not much control you have with CAS decisions on it so just continue to prepare as if nothing happens. It seems things getting cancelled/postponed last minute and we have a whole month out.

I mean, even if your testing location only has 1 or 2 people writing it, other testing centres can have 50+. If those testing centers are unable to accommodate, you think CAS is going to let some people write the exam and some people not?

It was painful going through my Fall 2019 exam again.
Knowing I was so close, but did absolutely awful on the graph interpretation ones. And missing some of the little tricks on others.
