Default *Recruiter Name Removed* Search

If you are using this guy to find you a new opportunity, STOP.

I am a senior level actuary. My firm has no current openings, yet we receive several emails from him weekly. It appears as if he is copying info directly from his clients' resumes with only the names of employers removed. Therefore, if one is familiar with carriers and products in a specific market, it is very easy to determine the identify of the candidates.

Having a recruiter shop you around lessens your value.

This forum generally discourages discussing specific recruiters positively or negatively.

This does sound like relevant info. You might want to repost this with the recruiter name obscured and let people DM you for more info.

This is the guy who caused a reply-all SPAM chain a couple years ago. His emails suck.

Haha yeah that was classic. He blamed some IT service, but reality is it had happened several times and the simple solution would be to BCC everyone. He wanted the reply all attention is only thing I can think of.

I love a good reply-all-a-pallooza. That one was epic and I felt left out

Yes, this. OP please remove the name. Feel free to leave the description of what they're doing, people should be aware of how their resume gets passed around, but we don't allow naming names here.

I've had good experience with said name. It's ironic that the OP is complaining about a recruiter who doesn't make a good enough effort to mask job candidates' identities and at the same time the OP is making absolutely no effort to mask the identity of the recruiter.
