When did you all submit IA? I'm also awaiting results. I submitted 7/20.

It was definitely torture. Needless torture, maybe not. I had a reason for doing it that way but hope to never have to do it again...

You mean until you have to do the FA, right?

FA is more meant to be done in a short period of time than IA imo. He did IA in even less time than you get for FA though.

I am totally a perfectionist too, so I can count on spending lots of time editing and re-editing. I have around 64 hours of study time scheduled, between work and personal study hours (not including vacation) so even if I don't quite get all my study hours at work, I should still be fine. I guess I'm going to go for it and download it tomorrow!
How many hours does your company give you to work on the IA (or is it not that specific)?

They give 92 hours for Modules 1-5 & IA. I can't remember how many exactly I used for IA, but I think it was around 26 by the time I used up a bunch on the modules themselves. I'm currently on vacation (partly planned around this) finishing up the IA with 12ish days left of mostly revising and editing (I want to submit it early before PA results, but we'll see).

In case anyone is interested, I ended up submitting it on 8/23 after working on it some while on vacation like I planned. That was only 20 days, so I'd say it wasn't as bad as I thought, time-wise. But come 6 weeks or so, I'll find out whether that was a good strategy or not.
