Just keep reading over the tasks. You will eventually get an idea on how to approach it. Remember that the SOA cares more about how to communicate your answer versus how correct your numbers are.

If the new EOM exercises are anything like the old Interim Assessment, I think that accuracy was important there. some of those questions had little to do with communication at all though.

Anyone willing to share their company raise/bonus schedule for these modules? My company has not updated their study program for the new exams and module set up, so just trying to see what others have done. Specifically interested in raises for finishing the modules and how many times companies have agreed to pay for retakes on the EMAs.

We previously had a $3K raise for passing IA and a $3K raise for passing FA, and all we did was change the IA raise to apply when all 7 EMAs are passed. Our general policy on retakes is that we'll pay for up to three attempts; I'm assuming that applies to EMAs as well.

5k for everything (all modules + FA), one retake per EMA.

Maybe we'll revise the first time an analyst takes 20 attempts to pass all the EMAs

IA retakes were $500 apiece in the old FAP, so if we were willing to cover $1000 of IA retakes, we should be willing to cover a few EMA retakes.

I emailed the SOA about my EMA1 (submitted 3 weeks and 6 days ago), the answer back was "grades are released on Wednesdays." This doesn't seem consistent with what others have posted here, but I thought I'd share anyway in case others feel like they've been waiting forever for their grades too.

My EMA1 MMR came on a Wednesday, though I recall both an NMMR on Friday and an MMR on a Tuesday in this forum recently.
