No one of age 14-18 knows what they want. I played sports because I wanted to, but there was also an underlying degree of wanting to be accepted, wanting to be one of the athletic kids, not just sitting in front of a computer all day (Hey, mom! Look at me now!).

At my school it was the soccer chicks that were teh hots.

Also, seems now that cheerleading is something for the gymnasts, since there really isn't a high school gymnastics team.
