Default New FAP Waiting Room

Who else is waiting for Jan 6? I would be interested in joining (not necessarily running) a study group for it once things kick off in 2020. I'm excited to see the changes and am hoping that the grading of the new EOM/IA exercises isn't delayed due to the new structure. I'm also glad that the grading schedule of the FA will be published in advance.

Hopefully I can knock these out quick and, assuming I hear some good news about LTAM on Jan 10, make it to an APC this summer.

Also waiting, though I still need to take LTAM. Gonna do that in April, hopefully pass, and get started on the modules over the summer.

I'm doing the same thing. I'll sign up for modules Jan 6th and get LTAM results Jan 10th. My plan is modules Jan - March (hopefully finish the IA), studying for PA Apr - June, then modules again until they're done, APC sometime in the fall.

We'll see how that works out. Year end financial reporting and whether or not I pass LTAM could shake my plan up a bit, but my goal is still ASA by the end of 2020

I'm curious as to whether you'll be allowed to discuss the new EOM exercises since it will be part of the IA. Under the current modules you can't discuss IA with anyone.

Seems like registration for new Modules is open. Not entirely sure.

I see you can register for modules 1-8, but then there's also the end of module exercises separately?

Both links take you to a payment page that seems like you're paying $300 for Mods 1-8. Idk, there may be some error.

Or maybe the mods are 300 then EOM exercises are 300 then must buy FA

As far as I've heard in prior communication, access to the modules themselves is $300 as it has been in the past. However, since the Interim Assessment is baked into all of the EOMs, those now cost $600 (the price of IA in the past). FA is the same price as before.

Also, I received an email with instructions for transferring from old to new, so if you did not then maybe shoot the SOA an email asking for such instructions.
