I might also just be washing my hands more or staying home from work if I feel like I may be getting sick instead of waiting until I'm actually sick.

It's possible to change your behavior slightly for the greater good that is different than your normal behavior without going full quarantine. It seems pointless and stubborn to not make the little changes at this point.
But I already never do anything. What less can I do?

Nothing personal, just attacking your post

Half-assed measures. I'm going to eat out less. See people less. Not take my kid to random ass crowded places like the grocery store. See if I can convince my wife to skip church. Not hang out with the grandparents for a couple weeks.

We won't pull kid out of school (so there's a very good chance she and us will get it), and won't stop hanging out with best friends (who also have kids so they'll probably also get it...).

It seems pointless to virtue signal pretending you're significantly impacting the rate of spread of the virus when you're not.
1. I WFH and stopped social occasions (turned down two major social events)

2. Not going to a Liverpool match (£200 loss)

3. Not travelling to Madrid (£600 loss)

Etc..

So you see, this is not virtue signalling.

I work from home, and my day to day activities simply arenít what spread this kind of thing. I hate crowded events. No changes required. Itís easy for me to stand on a pedestal here.

My girlfriend is a 5th grade teacher and very social. She would require major lifestyle changes for even partial quarantine.

Point being, this isnít the time to be too judgmental. Itís also not the time to be defiant against people taking mild to moderate precautions.

And you're doing that based on, what evidence or guidance exactly? Sounds like you're using it as an excuse to do what you want to do anyway.
