Default QFIP-129-18

Does anyone notice this material is included by both QF syllabus and PM syllabus?

QFIQ-122-20: Equity Indexed Annuities: Downside Protection, But at What Cost?
QFIP-129-18: Equity Indexed Annuities - Downside Protection, But at What Cost?

So confused!

This actually happens more frequently than you'd think. Because the FSA exams update on different cycles, you often see this kind of thing pop up. This also happened to me (same reading on different FSA exams) when I took my FSA exams back in 2012.

Since the reading was just added to QFI QF, that probably means it will be removed from QFI PM for a future sitting. We'll know for sure when they release the syllabus in early June.

Funny, QFIP-142 Black-Litterman model and QFIP-143 risk factors, are the materials that are tested in ERM exam at 2018 fall. Now they are flowed over PM exam.

Confused, why are they trying to test the same things over and over agiain?

Thanks for the comment, I will not read this material again.
