I'll have to take a picture of my copy of Thinking, Fast and Slow tonight, ha.

Mostly true neutral for me (local bookstore puts a new bookmark in every book you buy), though some Chaotic Good and some Chaotic Evil mixed in. I'll have to try a leaf sometime, go all-in on Chaos!

Lawful neutral most of the time.
Chaotic good if I'm reading a physical book.

Reading Plum Island by DeMille. Searched and saw a few others on here have read it/him.

He stole our joke . Head of the Plum Island Animal Disease Center told the joke. Paraphrasing:

Quote:
"How can you tell if a scientist (or maybe it was biologist) is extroverted?

He looks at your shoes when he talks to you."
Nice part was that the question was at the end of one page; so I knew the answer before turning the page. Had to chuckle at that.

Decent entertainment so far. About halfway through.

Now, for research/writing, I put sticky notes in books and sometimes I write on the pages

I used to be chaotic evil (but only if I owned the book in question), but Mrs. Arroway (you can call her Eleanor) is not only true neutral, she is pristine neutral. After she finishes a book, you can't even tell, cuz she doesn't crease the spine AT ALL. She made me feel bad for not only dog-earing, but for creasing the spine so the book would lay flat (paperbacks). It's hard to read a paperback without holding it unless you crease the spine.

Journal of the Plague Year, Defoe.

25% of the way through... man, does some of this sound familiar: he's got counts from the bills of mortality, stories of the people needing a bill of health in order to go elsewhere, the regs on closing up houses, the people escaping quarantine, hiding dead bodies (or lying about cause of death), etc.

Starting The Map of the Sky by Felix J. Palma. Its shaping up to be just as bizarre as its predecessor, The Map of Time. A weird mixture of satire, steampunk, and a paean to H. G. Wells. (Map of Time was shaped around The Time Machine, and this one is shaped around The War of the Worlds. I'm told that the conclusion of the trilogy, The Map of Chaos, is shaped around The Invisible Man.)

Sometimes I get in the mood for weird stories.
