two books on my to buy list:

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

The Da Vinci Code

Try the Inspector Gamache mystery series by Canadian author Louise Penny.
Characters are more complex and empathetic than most.

Yeah, I used to get in 4 hours of audiobook time per day. Now I'm lucky to get 1

[I play it while washing dishes or updating my pension threads]

I'm going to try to institute a half hour walk each day, and hopefully I can listen then. We'll see how it goes.

Finished A Distant Mirror, by Tuchman. A lot less plague than one would assume [and also there's a remark that not a large # of people remarked on the huge population decrease]

Started This is How You Lose the Time War last night. It's less than 200 pages, so I'll probably finish it tonight.

I'm probably the rare person whose reading rate went down with this pandemic.
Finished that, Dragonquest (2nd Pern book) and All Systems Red (book 1 of the Murderbot Diaries). I'll start The White Dragon (3rd Pern book) tonight.

At first I was thinking "wow, I'm definitely going to meet my Goodreads reading goal this year!" In the past two weeks I've made zero progress....and I live alone, so I have no excuses about other people in the house.
