FTR, I didn't care about exclusion of same-sex couple from the phrasing, I just looked at the poll too quickly and thought there was a conflict between the title and poll question like in the other one, but there isn't.

There are going to be larger gaps in same-sex couples simply due to us having to "cast a wider net" in order to meet compatible people. When only 2-5% of the people you might be interested in even MIGHT consider you, you have to whittle down your list of dealbreakers.
That said, it's appalling how many people's ads say "if you are older than X don't even think about responding" when X is some number that is less than the advertisers' age.
