I have no vermouth but I made a drink with whiskey and gran manier. I had totally forgotten I had a little of bulliet rye leftover.

lagavulin 16 that i forgot i had. i actually haven't had lagavulin since i visited the distillery last summer, but i've had a ton of ardbeg/laphroaig since. i forgot just how distinct lagavulin is from the other 2. really enjoying this.

Had a local amber. Too hoppy. I've got eight local breweries to spend my money at. I don't have to drink hoppy beers.

My review:

The lager: Crisp and refreshing. A respectful 6.2%. Might be my favorite lager. Much better than any of the big domestics.
The double ipa: I think I'd like it better if they just called it a Strong Ale. Nearly undetectable hoppy bitterness. Very sweet. I'm almost certain they just added extra sugar to the wort to bump up the ABV cheaply.
The other one: Eh. Not great, but the price is right.
