Sorry, don't check this sub-forum enough anymore. All the games I had going are done.

Once Italian Halibut got his queen far away, I was able to mate him (as black).

jrblitz (black) resigned to me a couple moves after giving me his queen

actuary_aspire (white) made a bold move with his queen, then the board opened up, and I chased his king into a mate.

Never started a game with RhoRho, but I see we've found his ID, so I'll try now

I've been playing in one of the quarterly chess.com tournaments. Nearly my games are pretty much decided by blunders win or lose.

While I don't have aspirations of really getting better at chess anymore, I did think I would get to the point where my games wouldn't be blunder messes. I think a little bit has to do with the nature of correspondence games where you take long breaks between moves. But still.. ughhhhh

EA26 lost to me on time. I had a pretty good position and felt good in the game. Timeouts are sad though.

i lost to two more games i went 1-4 on the season. chessskool beat me and so did watcher_in_the_woods. Although the second game my phone made a move for me by accident which gave away my queen. So i just resigned. Very frustrating. Shouldn't have left it on when I put it in my pocket.

EA26 also timed out in our game. We had barely gotten started and material was even.

Werewolf resigned to me. 40 move game. Pretty well played game for our caliber IMO.

The tale of the tape from the computer shows:
16 Excellent for both of us
14 Good for me, 13 for Werewolf
9 Inaccuracies for me, 8 for Werewolf
1 Mistake for me
1 Blunder for Werewolf

I had a small advantage (0.5 - 1.5 centipawn) through a majority of the game, but let it drift back to a draw/slightly in Werewolf's favor as we approached end game until he blundered in the end game. He allowed a final trade of rooks which allowed me to stop his passed pawn advance while letting my passed pawn go free.
