Or any interest in Willie Calhoun? 10th Rd keeper who I've seen listed as 9th Rd value; can be had for cheap.

Likely keeping multiple 10s but willing to trade a Hunter Dozier to someone w no 10 or as an improvement on a 10.

I'm looking to get a 2nd 5th rounder, willing to trade back from 4.10 for a bump elsewhere...or maybe swap late in round 3rd + 4th for 4.01 and 4.10.

1.01
2.01
3.01
4.01
4.10
5.01
7.01
8.01
9.01
10.01
11.01
12.01
13.17
14.01
16.01
16.10
17.01
18.01
19.01

Related question...Assuming I don't get a 2nd 5th round pick, if I choose to keep 2 5th rounders by using an earlier pick, would my 4.01 or 4.10 be used for that keeper? TIA

Your choice... but I would assume you'd want to use 4.10. The "earliest pick in the round" rule only applies if you are using the latest possible round to keep the player. You could, theoretically, say screw it and keep the player in the 2nd round.

I'm not sure what players you're looking to keep here, but one thing to keep in mind is if you need to move a player up to the 4th, that is where they are drafted this year. That means they are a 2nd round keeper next year. If you can keep him in the 5th, he'd be a 3rd round keeper next year.

Keone Kela (9th round keeper, was just named Pirates' 2020 closer) is available for a bag of balls. As far as I know he's a non-sex-offender so he should have good job security.

Eloy Jiminez and Austin Meadows. This is Eloy's last year for me to keep him and Meadows' 1st, so it's and easy choice for who/where I'll keep them if I need to burn a 4th.

Also glad I can use 4.10, but the rules didn't specify. I remember keeping a 9th rounder (I think) a few years back when I had 2 selections that round, and I "had" to use my 1st pick available.

I re-checked the rules, they actually are pretty clear for this/that case. It all depends on when they're available to be kept. In that semi-hypothetical case (real case, facts in question) it sounds like you had two 9th round picks and a keeper in the 9th round. In that case you must use the better pick. If you had a 9th round keeper and two 8th round picks (no 9th), you can use the worse pick.

Essentially the rules state you can use any pick to keep a player up until the best pick you have in the last round he can be kept.

Trade:

rekrap -> yankeetripper: 1.06 + 7.06
yankeetripper -> rekrap: 1.12 + 6.12

Obviously, I'm planning to keep Trout, now with 1.12

Any and all deals considered on the below!

For anyone picking in the 2nd half of the 9th I have 9.05 and want to move back for keeper purposes.

For anyone wanting a 10th round keeper, I have Dustin May (LAD SP) available. Fangraphs have him as the #14 overall prospect coming into this season. The Dodgers trading Maeda may clear a spot for him in the rotation. Worse case he starts the year in AAA for a month or 2 until LAD need another starter.
