Default URGENT -- Help needed on Task 6

I understand what we are supposed to do. I am having trouble understanding the logistics. How does one "remove the delivery costs by using a cell reference" and how does one "discount" out inflation? The technical aspects of this seem to be too much.

As always, I appreciate any help. I am in my final hours.

As HG said, there are some helpful threads on the FAP forum. For Task 6, one of the threads gives you a step by step guide to determine what to do.

To the OP: the exchange rate assumption is what is given in the task. As always, you can enter a new set of assumptions on the tab of the spreadsheet that the instructions indicate. Not sure why this matters for this task.
hope this helps.

1. Instead of hard coding 0.50 per ton into your formula, use a variable that you can change easily.
2. Costs/(1+inflation). Again, use a variable.

Default I'm so tired...

yos -- I found an approach this morning. I was beside myself with exhaustion last night. Nevertheless, thanks for replying and thanks for explaining it in a way that can be understood. Some of our friends out here on the forums have their own style of parlance.

Thanks again.
