on Sunday i'll do the pier-to-peak half here in Santa Barbara. brutal uphill the whole way - 4000 ft of climbing. should be fun!
There's a marathon, half and 10k in Vegas 11/17. I'm allegedly doing the 10k.

it's a great view the whole way. hopefully i won't be stopping too much to look, but that hill is relentless. probably will be cloudy in the morning, and we will get above the clouds at about mile 9.

We have vastly different ideas of fun! But good luck and have your brand of fun!

Sunday's race was tough. I wasn't feeling strong for some reason so I was slower than expected. Made it to the top in 2:45. Really struggled the final few miles. that hill is just relentless.

back to flat running and biking for a while. should be a good change of pace. i might do a 10k in a few weeks (school fundraiser). hopefully I can run under my age.

How did I miss this thread?

Doing great!

I might meet up with Loner in Vegas. I'll be the one literally whipping his ass during the run. I hope he's not into that sort of thing, since that will serve the opposite intended purpose.
