From the Banks POV it is more important to secure your employees well being than losing a few hundred $$. Especially when the police will more than likely track down the suspects.
Looking at the pictures I am pretty sure I would have told the girls I would give them the money as soon as they showed me their weapon. If they wouldn't show a weapon, I wouldn't give them the money.

I would probably then get fired but I think it would be worth it to see those idiot girls face when I refused to give them the money.

They look like they're there to make a deposit. I think I would have really had to ask if they were serious, press the button, stall and wait for the cops.

They're white; and more importantly, they're pretty. I'm going to recommend 6 months probation.

This reminds me of the incident in the late 90's when some suburban teenage girls got a gun and robbed a few convenience stores. The getaway car was a brand-new Pontiac Firebird that one of the girl's parents recently got her for her 16th birthday. Gifts like that show that the parents did nothing to teach her the value of money and work, and they (the parents) should have been jailed for a little while for being accessories to the crime.

Edit: I found a link to the story (long read).
