Default Enhanced FSA Requirements effective 7/1/13

what does this mean? i've got credit for Exam DP, but haven't passed Exam CSP yet. are they saying that if i don't get it done (along with the other FSA requirements) by 7/1/13, i'll be subject to yet another set of requirements to become an FSA???

Yeah, but don't freak out. I'm in the same boat you're in as far as having DP but not CSP. Here's how I view it, modules, DMAC and FAC are the same. What's left is sit down exams. Instead of 2 exams of 6 hours each there will be 2 exams that are 5 hours and one exam that is 2 hours. We'll get credit for a 5 hour exam and the 2 hour exam, for a total of 7 hours. In other words, the only exam remaining will be a 5 hour exam instead of a 6 hour exam. We're coming out slightly ahead in the deal.

it looks like you are referring to some transition rules that i never saw. i missed the link on that webpage. thank you for calming me down!

given the stuff going on in my family, and esp considering that my husband recently started grad school himself, i decided to put off CSP for a while. so you can see why this made me worried.

i wouldn't make that assumption yet. SOA is as capable of making a tough 5 hr exam as they are of making a tough 6 hr exam.

The fact you got 'credit' for DP but still haven't passed CSP pretty much shows how many years you've been dragging... and if another 2 years are still not enough, then it's nobody else's fault.
