i'm not entirely against that either. the league is just for fun and the downsides would be more about fairness of not playing everyone but who cares since we don't have money on the line.

There are so many unknown factors heading into this shortened season that we should just let it play out and have fun with it. Which players are going to crash and burn like so many past players who've held out until mid-season? You know that some players have been staying on top of their training while others have spent these long months being relatively inactive. Other players will not make it out of spring training because of wanting to ramp up their training so quickly. Many of these will simply be shut down for the season. Some minor leaguers who otherwise would not make it into the majors this year will be assigned to the taxi squad and could make their impact felt much sooner than later. Lots and lots of unexpected developments to be sure! I cannot wait to hear "PLAY BALL!"

I think I'm going to come up with two options, one mostly along the lines of let it ride and the other being 2020 never happened, repick. I'm also going to abstain from voting since I was saddled with a big disadvantage in this draft because of my strategy last year. But we'll see what comes and take it from there. I'm still not totally confident they pull this thing off.

I agree with Pete. This is just a fun free league for bragging rights. Let the chips fall where they may.

I also agree with Big Pete. Whatever format we play, we treat rosters as if this was a normal season.

Agree with this. Everything else would just be posturing for an advantage for next year. If it's good enough for baseball in general than good enough for the league.

Rotisserie is good option for scoring.

Repost from the main league thread...

FYI... the whole league is currently locked from Add/Drops. Going to let the rosters settle, then come up with a way to compensate anyone who has players opting out of the season. Not injury related, but pandemic related. Injuries happen, but if a player (Mike Leake supposedly is case #1) opts out, whoever had him should get first pick off the scrap heap.
