never take your wife with you to a casino. The guy with his wife that wants to try his hand at the poker table... mmm good fish.

really, never fly anything but solo at a casino. Unless you have good degenerate friends that understand 2 hours is just warming up at a card table. I dont think my wife wants to play slots for 8 hours while I sit in the poker room.

playing cards is like buying a car. Dont drink, have no time constraints, eat a good meal before going, its better if you dont know anyone there, and dont take your wife.

So agree, cheap poker players like me are not great for business. But poker players are not going to switch to other games if you remove the poker room, they just wont come at all.

Thinking of a trip in July with some friends. We would drive in. Currently debating if this is a good idea or not re: COVID.

Debating with whom? It's a bad idea (IMO).

Against either one of them.

The analogy I'd use is that Las Vegas is a whore. You're having sex (i.e., breathing people's exhalations) with everyone she's f****d.
And, no, not all of them used a condom (mask).

Gov Sisolak dropped the hammer.
Masks now required everywhere.

And in the last 2 days, Nevada has gone from #1 to #6 on rt.live so, looks like they're doing something.
