$0 merit/COL raise (promoted midyear) + 6.2% bonus (7%ish target)

2019 was my 1st yr with this company... previous company never gave below 3% COL/merit raise & my avg while there was 5-6%. So this $0 raise was a kick to the balls, especially considering I was promoted midyear (got 2% raise for that) & scored well on evaluations.

Yeah. Hired early 2019 (& negotiated higher starting salary than originally offered), then got promoted within < 6 months. I was under the impression the promotional raise was going to be in addition to a decent end-of-year raise... I was definitely misled.

I couldnt tell you how many times Ive seen this "We need a study that shows x". Most of the time it is there, but sometimes Ive had to go back and say 'there is no way I can make this true'.
