Westworld is back for season 3, and two episodes in I think this season will be more straightforward time and story line wise than the past two. However maybe I am wrong and I am being bamboozled once again.

I'm lost with Maeve's story. She stuck in a virtual world of some sort?

Apparently so. Warworld isn't real.

Yeah it seems that the machine that the robot pulled her brain out of was connected to a computer running a simulation, but it now appears that she is out in the real world with Serac. It seems like only having a button to stop her is a bad plan. I can imagine a moment where he is not able to get to the button for some reason and Maeve could kill him, but maybe he has other safeguards already in place.

She could just jump in the air with the knife and land on him even though she is frozen...

Yeah once she sees Michael Jordan winning the 1987 dunk contest she may pull that move on Serac.

I think I'm done with this show. I just can't concentrate hard enough and feel like I'm missing subtle points. Too distracting trying to play detective on what time period we're in, etc. Going to keep in on DVR and follow this thread just in case.

No idea. But, Dolores certainly didn't supply enough memory.
Probably Teddy, seeing as "she" has a very protective personality.
She is also the mole that she's looking for.

My guess:
Spoiler:
Dolores' whole story is made up. She's just living it in stasis.

Why? Who knows with this series.

I am hoping that this season is more straightforward than the first two and doesn't play around with time/reality, but

Spoiler:
Apart from Dolores living this all out in her head/a simulation, I could see it being that what we have been seeing has been partially occurring in the real world and partially occurring in a simulation run by Rehoboam that is trying to figure out a way to stop Dolores.
