Very nice live performance of folk songs from a guy who used to live next door to me when I was a kid.

My wife mentioned last weekend how much more time we spend together and how much more we talk to each other now that we're both home bound, and how much she's enjoying it.

I never worked from home before this pandemic and now it's 100% wfh for everyone. I mean, I hate being forced into this, but now knowing how to wfh will be advantageous in the future if I need something delivered or some such and need to be home. also, my department had to come up with new procedures for a lot of stuff we do since we can no longer have any paper at all. that will likely come in handy too and we could possibly reduce all that annoying paper in the future even when this stops.

11 out of 20 threads on the first page in NAT are about COVID-19 or related to it. THIS PANDEMIC GIVES US LOTS OF STUFF TO TALK ABOUT!

Seems like this could be of interest... Particle physicists are attempting to build an open source ventilator using off the shelf parts and could potentially be built at the rate of thousands per day.

The all natural peanut butter that I bought at the supermarket didn't need to be stirred. The run on staples caused newly made pb to make it to the shelf, so new that the oil hadn't separated to the top.

True, but the stuff gets talked about ad nauseam at times, especially on Facebook

I'm hoping this applies to our accounting department, so I don't have to listen to the sound of my cow-worker pounding on the stapler as much.
