Yes - I highly recommend watching that whole series. Very good show imo.

This show has gotten much better since my last post. Season 1 finale in the queue for tonight.

Finished last night - very happy with how this season turned out.
Re: the final episode:

Spoiler:

Was pretty surprised they killed off Del Rio. I wouldn't take too kindly to being called a redneck in my own home either though.

I like that they left it pretty wide open at the end. Was happy to see the wife & kids come back and face whatever fate Marty will. I wonder what happened with Rachel, it looks like she took some $ and gtfo of town? I am kind of wondering why the family doesn't do that too, $50M is a lot and I'd bet they could fairly easily find somewhere to move without being tracked by the cartel... but I guess part of the point is that they are already tired of running. Could be a very interesting second season.

watched the first 2 episodes last night. pretty good, will see how it develops. not sure if weaselette would like it. first ep might be a bit too gruesome for her.

I think Rip Torn would have been perfect for the old man role.

Finished watching this a few days ago. Pretty good, but feel like they had to work too hard to reset it for another season.

Rip Torn would have been good, but I liked the guy they used too.

another thought

Spoiler:
I thought Marty and Rachel were gonna hook up.

Thoughts on second season:

Spoiler:
Dad is gonna get out of jail and hunt Marty, too. One of the children is gonna do something really stupid.

Agreed on all counts. Regarding the first spoiler,

Spoiler:

I hope so. She's

But seriously, I thought it was interesting she took the money and just bounced. I wonder if any of the cartel / opium growers were watching her or saw that happen. Wouldn't be surprised if Marty has to come save her, they end up banging, and that drives a wedge between Marty and his wife.

I'm 3 episodes in. I like it. Wouldn't say it's amazing, but it'll keep me entertained for about a week.
