ugh, that blows

although, if the pass rate on the new EOM's is as high as the old EOM's, you might not have to worry about this. also, the pass rate on IA if it's compared to that was pretty high anyway.

Emailed them and it is per module, per retake, as I'd suspected.

Does anyone know if the EOM exercises are now timed, since they are replacing the IA?

How long do they give you? I'm still working my way through the first module and haven't paid for the EOM exercises, yet.

96 hours...per the FAQ page on the SOA FAP site:

for the EOM (or the old IA) are you allowed to go back into the modules? if not, should we be taking notes? just wondering if its smart to be taking notes at all and what is allowed.

My understanding is EOM and the final are open note and done "offline" so this should allow to you refer back to the modules while doing these assessments. I can't confirm this though. In the modules, the SOA did say there's a FAP discussion forum that you can ask questions on so that might be a good place to start.

Ahh, I got the modules to work now. I'm also curious to see how everyone is doing. I did the Honesty and Integrity module and passed the Module 1 Quiz to open up the interactive scenario.

All of my co-workers (who took the old FAP) said they didn't read the slides, would just take the quiz and do the EOM assignments. Since every EOM is now timed and graded, I'm wondering if I should take more time going through the slides.

for the old IA, yes you were. I'm assuming that hasn't changed.
