Round 1: Starts Mon Nov 7, finishes Fri Nov 18
Round 2: Starts Mon Nov 21, finishes Fri Dec 9 (3 weeks for Thanksgiving)
Round 3: Starts Mon Dec 12, finishes Fri Dec 23
Round 4: Starts Mon Dec 26, finishes Fri Jan 13 (3 weeks...?)
Round 5: Starts Mon Jan 15, finishes Fri Jan 27
Round 6: Starts Mon Jan 30, finishes Fri Feb 10
That looks about right.

I would suggest, due to the various vacations around Christmas, that there be a bit of leeway given for late R3 votes and late R4 submissions. I.e., Christmas to NYD would be a "flex" week. Maybe even just allow R4 to start on NYD with a break between. I'm open to whatever, though. I'll be around that week so I defer to those who actually have big plans.

Ok. Short-term, I'll make R2 three weeks. Long-term, I'll wait to hear from those big plan people before deciding what to do with R3 and R4.

Avi Buffalo - Memories Of You - 0 points: Liked the other Avi Buffalo song a lot better. Could do without the long space at the end too.

Bent Knee - Being Human - 1 point: Parts of this I really like, but it gets a bit too chaotic partway through.

Black - Wonderful Life - 1 point: Solid 80's sound. Nothing special, but pleasant enough nostalgia for me.

Freddie Joachim & QSTN - My Breakdown Lady - 0 points: Would have had a point, but I didn't like the crazy drums near the end.

Max Webster - Battle Scar - 0 points: Nothing really stands out about this one.

Ochre - Napolese - 3 points: This is very relaxing.

Polyphia - Nightmare - 4 points: This is in the sweet spot with technical shredding, but not too much metal schlock. Well done viv!

Secret Machines - Lightning Blue Eyes - mine

The Wooden Sky - Oslo - 1 point: Pleasant enough for a point.

USS (Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker) - Yin Yang - 1 point: Silly but catchy.

Young Kato - Drink, Dance, Play - 0 points: didn't hate it, but the who-oh-oh-oh-oh-ohs wore me out.

Sorry if my scoring comments come off as pissy, I love you guys and love this game and someone needs to fill in the void left by glassjaws. Wish you all would get some better taste in music, though

Avi Buffalo - Memories Of You - Mine: This song/album/band rules and you all can suck an egg. The lyrics are dope and the song takes a lot of interesting turns.

Bent Knee - Being Human - 1 point: Gets a point because of the bad round. I didn't find the lyrics as annoying as everyone else but the song itself is a bit meh.

Black - Wonderful Life - 2 points: Enjoyable enough. Gets 2 points for being in a shit round.

Freddie Joachim & QSTN - My Breakdown Lady - 0 points: It's real cool to hear someone copy/paste the same 20 seconds over and over again.

Max Webster - Battle Scar - 0 points: This song actually made me angry, why would you record this and show it to the world? Different strokes, I guess.

Ochre - Napolese - 1 point: I could fall asleep to this. I could also fall asleep to the sound of rain, but I don't want to listen to the sound of rain when I'm in the mood to listen to music.

Polyphia - Nightmare - 1 point: This is basically dubstep with guitars. This whole "genre" reminds me of some super technically talented 25 year old sitting in the bedroom he's lived in his whole life (no shame in that) and programming everything outside of guitars and bass on his computer. Does it sound nice? Yeah it sounds pretty decent. Does it take talent? Obviously. Do I like it? Nah. There's nothing human about it, it's just robotic. Repetitive as well, which got old.

Secret Machines - Lightning Blue Eyes - 4 points: Honestly, this would be a one or two pointer in a normal round but I have nowhere else to put them. It was kinda catchy and felt earnest enough.

The Wooden Sky - Oslo - 1 point: What the other guy said, pleasant enough for a point.

USS (Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker) - Yin Yang - 0 points: See this is where you guys lose me. I'm not saying everyone should like my submission, but almost everyone commented on the "absurd lyrics". Did you even listen to this USS song? "All trampoline, no submarine, All I all I all I really really really wanna do is bounce around with you" Not to mention that horrible chorus and stupid vocal chops. Give me some whiney kid singing real things about his sex life over phoned in nonsense written to sell a record or two.

Young Kato - Drink, Dance, Play - 1 point: Horrible song that gets a point due to the round. Once again, lyrics are meaningless trash here.
