Default CT6 and C

Has anyone mapped these two exams from the IoFA and SOA, respectively?

Thanks

I believe CT6 is deemed to be equivalent to both C and VEE stats by the SOA. If you pass CT6 then SOA will give you an exemption from C and VEE. It does not work the other way however, SOA students can not get an exemption from CT6. Popular opinion amongst colleagues who are familiar with both systems is that CT6 is harder.

If you pass C and MLC however you can gain exemptions from CT4 and CT5.

I'm guessing at least one of those actuarial orgs has mapped out roughly equivalent requirements earned through the other, Carlos.

Have you tried their websites? If those are not helpful, perhaps emailing them with your question?

It's none of my business, but I'm curious why this matters to you.

Thanks Marcie--I just have interest in actuarial education, qualification standards and curricula in different countries.
