Same company. I did take a 30% pay cut to join a startup consulting group a couple years ago and hadn't gotten a raise until this month (basically spent the whole time trying to win business). We won a lucrative contract and some changes in my responsibilities happened that warranted the increase. I don't know if you'd call that a promotion but my title didn't change and won't change for at least the next few years, so technically it wasn't.

will find out in a few weeks.

Company is sending out a lot of messaging to the point of 'dont expect much'.

Been here a few years, when the bonus pool looks good, its the talk of the town. When its not doing so good... radio silence. This year has been the later.
