There's an ad on TV for the play To Kill a Mockingbird.

One of the testimonial blurbs is: "It hasn't played to a single empty seat."

I understand that it means all the shows have been sold out, but I bet somewhere along the line somebody was sick or had an emergency and couldn't make it and the seat was empty. It's not like thy have seat-fillers like at awards shows...

[or to be cynical, maybe there were more than one seat empty, so they did not play to a "single" empty seat... ]

People that drive without their headlights on when it's raining or snowing.

And before someone replies "that bothers you the correct amount", you haven't seen how I act when like 30%+ of drivers are exhibiting this behavior around me.
