Also, I'm adjusting the number of cards to also provide a bit more balance:

Originally, there are 6 L vs. 11 F policy cards (so, 35% of total deck is L).

I'm going to try 8 L vs. 14 F policy cards (so, 36% of total deck is L, but the L's don't have to pass all 8, they still only need to pass 6 to win).

I don't think this change will affect the total time to play the game to a winner.

[*]Given the even number of players, Eva will be utilized to help address the imbalance of #L's vs. #F's:
According (IIRC) to the original poster of this game (was it MH? I forget), 10 players, although even was still considered a fair game at least live. So, given that (if in fact it is true) do we need the complexity of Eva?

I'll search to see if I can find the original thread.

The game can be played with anywhere from 5-10 players, but it's heavily slanted to the liberal team with 6 and somewhat slanted with 8, so I'd like to try to avoid those player counts."

We can always ignore the Eva Rule if it seems that things are balanced.

The player assigned to be Eva won't know their role and we should have a good idea at just how balanced things are by the time the third F policy is passed.

I think an auto activation of Eva on a specific policy is too powerful for the Fascists.

I think in a game where the Liberals hold a 2 member advantage over the Fascists at the start having Eva flip if a regular Fascist is killed on the first assasination makes some sense.
Mind you it would be active only on the first player killed. So if the 1st power got burned by failed governments it would apply to the 2nd power, but if if a liberal got shot the first time, it would not be in play on the 2nd bullet.

I also don't like insta win if Eva get's shot.

Just my 2 pfennings

Noted and good thoughts. I'll adjust some accordingly (like no insta win).

I think you're right in having a Fascist assassinated to be the Eva trigger; but rather than having her "flip", her vote would be "forced" per my earlier descriptions.

Okay, I think we need a single entry with all rules and participants listed. I'll need to review the Eva rules. I was busy studying when that game was played and honestly didn't pay much attention to it.

Plus we'll need a player nomination order to work with.

Check the game thread started by S. Morgenstern.

And also check your PM's.

You'll find all you're asking for.

Plus you need to vote already.
