I had never heard of the Campeones Cup until yesterday.

I had never heard of the Campeones Cup until just now.

Like the original Super Bowl that wasn't actually called that until the third one.
Those leagues eventually merged.
(Well, actually, those leagues had already agreed to merge before the first Super Bowl was played, but I digress.)

Good to see that 40K+ were on hand, according to wiki.

Probably because the Chick-fil-A was open.

I did not go, but it was a big crowd for a midweek game. I'd say the crowd was at least 50% for Club America. There were also a lot of fans with gear from both CA and ATL.

Not to be confused with the Leagues Cup.

I did attend, there were a lot of Club America fans. it was a very raucous event. The crowd was very into it. You could tell the Club America fans who weren't local because they liked to sit down. They wanted to sit down and then jump up and yell when something happened. As opposed to the regulars who just stand the whole game.

Regardless, very entertaining. I feel like we might've gotten to see Tito if we didn't have that injury sub for Escobar.

Also the instagram back and forth between Parkhurst and Nagbe is pure gold.
