Congratulations, all.
Thanks, Avi. I only voted for half of the winners, but it looks like we elected some good people to the board.

Which ones did you vote for, Mrs Arnaz?

Interesting that the CAS went back to publishing the vote total for President-Elect, which they suspiciously omitted last year.

I could not bring myself to vote for any. Associates should not vote and the societies have bigger issues than Diversity. Just my two cents.

Perhaps the feedback last year was that they ought to publish those numbers.

IIRC, some of the candidates agreed with you re: associates voting, and some had other issues than diversity as their top issue.

Maybe none had this combination, I don't recall.

I'm only ACAS so I only gave a cursory glance to the responses from the candidates on this topic, but I remember when it came up in the membership survey. One option I didn't see anyone considering was some form of limited voting rights for ACAS, e.g. can vote in president/board elections but not on direct actions by members such as amendments to bylaws. Some sort of experience requirement or a "not taking exams any more" requirement like the one for being a grader could be appropriate as well.

There was a recent MAP survey that included each of these options.
