Default Annual Income and Bonus Pay in Australia

Greetings AO -

I've been offered an international assignment in Sydney and everything I have read in forums is about how expensive the cost of living compares to the US. I have over 6 years of experience in the insurance industry and became a FSA in 2012. If anybody could give me some advice on a comparable Annual Salary and Bonus in AU$ that would be great as that's what I'm being offered.

What amount of money would one be able to live comfortably in Sydney? I realize comfortably means different things to different people, but give me your best shot with maybe a short explanation.

Cheers
