The Red Sox had one of those a while back, I think. Don't remember his name. Oh yeah, there's a link to it in the article. Greg Harris.

Didn't they pass a rule that said you couldn't switch pitching arms in the middle of an inning?

No. The rule is the pitcher has to declare which arm he is going to pitch with if a switch hitter is up and he can't change during the at bat.
