So, I had not read this before, but there will be a new European League, "Europa League 2" starting in 2021-22. It will consist mainly of lower euro country leagues, but one team from the top five in country coefficient.
Remember, long ago, when England was fighting for its top three status in country coefficients? Me neither. Currently #2, with the past two years' top country coefficients.

Champions/Europa League Play-offs Leg One this week. Wolves playing Torino to make the Group Stage of Europa.

Oh, there's ManU, Group L in the Europa League. What a travel schedule for them with Alkmaar, Astana and Partizan. I hope they play Liverpool after one of those trips. Wolves have shot to advance. Rangers got a tough draw with Feynoord, Porto and Young Boys.
