Yes I intentionally skipped 6, and now I have passed everything except 6.
It's because I work outside US, so exam 6 is indeed useless for me, and I have no practical need to be an ACAS.

Sadly no.
The case here in Hong Kong is that nobody gives a shit to associate level designation. People just care whether you are a fellow.

Anyone know roughly when to expect the syllabus? I'm assuming not a lot of change from last year, but would hate to start early to find out its a revamp.

If I remember right, last year the (first) update to the syllabus was in October (?). I also wouldn't expect huge changes, but what do I know?

If I remember correctly, they were still making changes to the syllabus in March!!!
